Delivery Driver

Responsibilities
Safe operations of trucks / transporting finished goods to various locations.
Ensure anything being picked-up is not damaged and all appropriate accessories are with finished product.
Complete various inspections the trailer/truck to ensure safety and sanitary provisions are followed.
Load and unload transport trucks at primary and secondary locations.
Complete all reports related to vehicle usage such as run sheets, inspection reports and maintenance.
Supports and coordinates space availability in DC, our secondary location.
Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Product Quality, Environmental and Employee’s Health and Safety regulatory guidelines.
Ensure food safety remains high priority and is an ambassador for a food-safe culture.
Proper practices of storages and better control of Food Hazards.
Follow all requirements of FIFO and FEFO.
Qualifications
Must have valid G Driver’s license and clean drivers’ abstract (must be current within 30 days).
Counterbalance certification required.
Must have minimum five (5) years experience driving 5-Ton Truck, or higher.
o 28 Ft.
o 8 Ft. Wide
Must lift minimum of 30 lbs consistently.
Willing to work in all types of weather and safely load and unload at job sites.
Previous experience working with SAP software systems a strong asset.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be a great team player.
Strong customer service skills.
