Mixer Machine Operator
About the job
Ensures and maintains a safe environment compliant with all governmental policies and procedures
Follows and enforces Food Safety & Food Quality Plans to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Standards, the SQF certification system, and other 3rd party audits
Performs various duties including, but not limited to; safe operation of machinery (mixer, oven, pan setter, trayer, etc), packaging products, mixing ingredients, and moving and/or stacking materials and equipment used in the production of fresh baked products.
Acts with a Continuous improvement mindset and focus on improving efficiencies and decreasing waste
Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor
Accurately mix batches for baked goods in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
Ensure line is running properly
Weigh product to ensure proper weight
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Assist production employees when required
Understand basic math comprehension and its application to food recipe measurement
Work closely with all team members to ensure product quality
Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area
Must adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
