General Production Worker

About the job

  • Ensures and maintains a safe environment compliant with all governmental policies and procedures

  • Follows and enforces Food Safety & Food Quality Plans to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Standards, the SQF certification system, and      other 3rd party audits

  • Performs various duties including, but not limited to; safe operation of machinery (mixer, oven, pan setter, trayer, etc),  packaging products, mixing ingredients, and      moving and/or stacking materials and equipment used in the production of fresh baked products.

  • Acts with a Continuous Improvement mindset and focus on improving efficiencies and decreasing waste

  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Accurately mix batches for baked goods in a safe, efficient, and timely manner

  • Ensure line is running properly

  • Weigh product to ensure proper weight

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

  • Assist production employees when required

  • Understand basic math comprehension and its application to food recipe measurement

  • Work closely with all team members to ensure product quality

  • Ability to maintain a clean and sanitized work area

  • Must adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures
